Traditional Students College Concerns

Traditional Students must adjust from the routine and regulated High School atmosphere to an informal yet academically challenging college atmosphere.

It is often hard for students to adjust to the new freedom that college brings because they must learn how to be disciplined and manage their time.

In high school parents and teachers often dictate how and when to study and complete assignments. If you are absent from school a parent must call in to verify that you are sick.

In college students may skip class as much as they want with few immediate consequences.

Often, students will find out a few weeks later when they have a test that they should have come to class because they missed important material.
